NITIN JAIN

My journey on this earth started on 16th June, 25 years back in Bhind, a small town in the dignity of Madhya Pradesh, India.I got my school education in Bhind. I have studied in Indira Bal Bharti School from 3rd standard till 8th standard. Then I have completed my education till Higher Secondary from Shri Munna Lal Agarwal Higher Secondary School, Bhind. Those days are still fresh in my mind.

I stayed in Kanpur while preparing for my IIT-JEE. I got very good company there which helped me achieving my goal. Perhaps the best time of my life when I worked really hard.

I joined the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, India in 2001. This was the beginning of my dream come true. Living in a cultural city like Varanasi and within a huge campus of Banaras Hindu University is once in a lifetime experience. I got number of friends at ITBHU. My college life has given me a vision for my life and determination to make anything possible.

For my summer internship in pre-final year I worked for Unaxis Displays, Switzerland. This internship has given me an opportunity to travel the most beautiful place in world, to understand the business complexities and attaining technical skill. I was living in City of Buchs and was the only Indian there. Still it was a good experience and I got number of european friends over there.

During my final year at ITBHU, I travelled Singapore. This trip, though short one, but has given me an opportunity to meet some big people in semiconductor industry at Samsung Electronics.

I have been offered a job in Infosys Technologies Ltd during my campus placement. So after finishing my university, I have joined Infosys as Software Engineer in July 2005 and started my first job at our Hyderabad Development Centre.

25th June, 2006; I moved to Mumbai, the party capital of India. During my stay of 15 months in Mumbai I did number of experiments with my life. I’ve joined organization like YJI, Nature Knights and dance groups like Tango Club, Salsa India, Sandip Soparrkar. I’ve also took initiative to start ITBHU.org Mumbai Alumni Chapter.

13th Oct, 2007; I have traveled to Muscat for work and for past 6 months been exploring Oman. Got number of friends of various nationalities. Helped in forming a salsa group in Muscat.

I came back to India on 20th April, 2008. I’ve stayed in Bangalore till Oct, 2008. I’ve attended “Indian Salsa Congress” and “Dance Jaytre” festivals.

In Oct 2008 I’ve traveled to Cairo, Egypt. A dream destination for tourists I guess. It was a dream come true. Got hundreds of friends in the wonderful city and I was no longer feeling like a foreigner. I was exploring the dance scene of Cairo all the time along with my work.

I came back to Hyderabad in July 2009. Had a pleasent 2 months stay here. For the first time in life played Dandiya (thanks to some good friends). Then moved to Dubai in Oct, 2009 and stayed there for almost 2.5 months. It was again a new experience and I happen to meet some wonderful people there.

I can be found in Hyderabad these days. Living peacefully and working on my dreams!!
